Sexual health problems are prevalent among patients and survivors of gynecologic cancers.
Sexual health can be affected by a variety of factors, including the physical, psychological, and social effects of cancer and its treatment. Many female cancer patients and survivors have concerns about sexual health but are unlikely to initiate discussions about it with their healthcare providers. Tools are available to facilitate these conversations and assess sexual health. In addition, a variety of interventions may be used to improve sexual health in these patients and survivors.
